Surah Rahman: The Chapter of Divine Mercy
Surah Rahman, also known as "The Chapter of Mercy," holds a special place in the Quran. It's the 55th chapter and is often recognized for its rhythmic and melodious verses. This chapter talks about the countless blessings and bounties of Allah, focusing on His mercy and care for all of creation.
The chapter starts with the phrase "Ar-Rahman," which translates to "The Most Merciful." This phrase is repeated numerous times throughout the surah, reminding us of Allah's infinite compassion. The repetition itself is like a gentle reminder of His unending love.
In Surah Rahman, Allah asks a profound question after narrating various blessings: "So, which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?" we breathe with air, the meal we eat, the beauty of nature are gift from Allah and to be grateful for them.
The surah also mentions the creation of humans and jinn, highlighting the uniqueness of each creation. It emphasizes how Allah's mercy is evident in the diversity of life forms and the intricate balance of nature.
One of the key messages of Surah Rahman is the idea that everything in the universe praises Allah. The sun, the moon, the stars, the trees – they all submit to His will and glorify Him in their own way. This reminds us of the importance of recognizing the signs of Allah in the world around us.
The surah doesn't just talk about the physical world; it also delves into the concept of the Hereafter. It describes the blessings that will be bestowed upon the righteous in Paradise, using beautiful imagery to depict the pleasures that await them.
Overall, Surah Rahman is a lyrical reminder of Allah's mercy and the need for gratitude. Its verses echo like a soothing melody, inviting us to ponder over the beauty of creation and the Creator. It's a chapter that touches the heart and nourishes the soul, making us aware of the kindness and generosity of Allah that surrounds us every moment.

(Allah) Generally Charitable!
It is He Who has taught the Qur´an.
He has made man:
He has shown him discourse(and insight).
The sun and the moon follow courses (precisely) figured;
Furthermore, the spices and the trees - both (the same) prostrate in reverence.
Furthermore, the Atmosphere has He raised high, and He has set up the Equilibrium (of Equity),
All together that ye may not violate (due) balance.
So lay out weight with equity and miss the mark yet to be determined.
He has fanned out the earth for (His) animals:
In that is products of the soil palms, creating spathes (encasing dates);
Additionally corn, with (its) leaves and tail for grub, and sweet-smelling plants.
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
He made man from sounding mud like unto ceramics,
Also, He made Jinns from fire liberated from smoke:
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
(He is) Master of the two Easts and Ruler of the two Wests:
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
He has let free the two collections of streaming water, meeting up:
Between them is a Hindrance which they don't violate:
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
Out of them come Pearls and Coral:
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
Also, His are the Boats cruising flawlessly through the oceans, grand as mountains:
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
All that is on earth will die:
However, will withstand (for ever) the Essence of thy Master,- loaded with Greatness, Abundance and Honor.
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
Of Him looks for (its need) each animal in the sky and on the planet: consistently in (new) Magnificence doth He (sparkle)!
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
Before long will We settle any unresolved issues, O both ye universes!
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
O ye gathering of Jinns and men! Assuming it be ye can pass past the zones of the sky and the earth, pass ye! not without power will ye have the option to pass!
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
On you will be sent (O ye malicious ones twain!) a fire of fire (to consume) and a smoke (to gag): no protection will ye have:
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
At the point when the sky is lease to shreds, and it becomes red like salve:
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
On that Day no inquiry will be posed of man or Jinn with respect to his transgression.
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
(For) the delinquents will be known by their imprints: also, they will be held onto by their forelocks and their feet.
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
This is the Damnation which the Miscreants deny:
In its middle and amidst extremely hot water will they meander round!
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
However, for, for example, dread when they will remain previously (the Judgment Seat of) their Master, there will be two Nurseries
Then which of the blessings of your Ruler will ye deny?-
Containing numerous sorts (of trees and enjoyments);-
Then which of the blessings of your Ruler will ye deny?-
In them (each) will be two Springs streaming (free);
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?-
In them will be Products of each and every sort, two and two.
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
They will lean back on Rugs, whose inward linings will be of rich brocade: the Product of the Nurseries will be close (and simple of reach).
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
In them will be (Ladies), virtuous, limiting their looks, whom no man or Jinn before them has contacted;-
Then which of the blessings of your Ruler will ye deny?-
Like unto Rubies and coral.
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
Is there any Award for Good - other than Great?
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
What's more these two, there are two different Nurseries,-
Then, at that point, which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?-
Dim green in variety (from abundant watering).
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forward water in consistent overflow:
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
In them will be Organic products, and dates and pomegranates:
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
In them will be fair (Mates), great, wonderful;-
Then which of the blessings of your Ruler will ye deny?-
Partners limited (with respect to their looks), in (goodly) structures;-
Then which of the blessings of your Ruler will ye deny?-
Whom no man or Jinn before them has contacted;-
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?-
Leaning back on green Pads and rich Floor coverings of excellence.
Then which of the blessings of your Master will ye deny?
